1. This notice
This notice explains how Yuva (“Yuva”, “we”, “us”) handles personal information in its corporate programs, Yuva For Teams and Yuva In Residence. It applies to the companies and properties that buy a program (“Customers”) and to the people who take part in one (“Participants”). Individual members of the Yuva app are covered by the consumer privacy notice on joinyuva.com. Where a Customer’s own privacy policy applies to its employees, that policy sits alongside this notice.
2. What we collect
From Customers: business contact details, company name, team size, and the information in an Order. From Participants in a team program: name and work email address, provided by the Customer; account activity such as sign-ins, practices played, completion, favourites, and community posts; and device and browser information collected by the platform on which the program runs. From guests in a residence program: nothing that identifies them. Guests open the program from a card in the room without an account, and we do not collect names, emails, or device identifiers from them.
3. How we use it
To set up and run the program: create Participant accounts, send the emails that sign people in and keep them informed, and operate the team portal and community channel. To improve the program: understand which practices are used and when, and make and adjust practices for the Customer’s team. To report to the Customer: produce aggregate usage reports and reviews. To meet our legal and contractual obligations.
4. Aggregate reporting
Reporting provided to a Customer is aggregate. It shows how the team as a whole is using the program: activation, practices played, minutes, and which practices are used most. It does not show which individual Participant used which practice, when, or how often, and we do not provide that information to a Customer or to a Participant’s manager. A Participant’s own account activity is visible only to that Participant and to Yuva.
5. The community channel
The private community channel is visible to the Participants of that Customer, to Yuva, and to the guide. Anything a Participant posts there can be seen by the other Participants in the channel. Participants choose what to share. Posts are not included in reporting to the Customer.
6. Who else sees it
We use service providers to run the program: the video platform that hosts the library and accounts, the email service that sends program emails, the form service that receives enquiries, and analytics that record usage. They process personal information on our instructions and under contract. We do not sell personal information and we do not share it with advertisers. We may disclose information where the law requires it.
7. Where it is kept and for how long
Personal information is processed in the United States by us and by our service providers, some of whom may process it elsewhere under appropriate safeguards. We keep Participant account information for the term of the Customer’s program and for up to twelve months after it ends, unless the Customer asks us to delete it sooner or the law requires us to keep it longer. Aggregate reports are kept as business records.
8. Security
We protect personal information with access controls, encryption in transit, and the security measures of the platforms we use. No system is perfectly secure; if we become aware of a breach affecting a Customer’s Participants, we will tell the Customer without undue delay.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, to have it deleted, to object to or restrict its use, and to receive a copy of it. Participants can exercise these rights by writing to us, and a Customer can exercise them on its Participants’ behalf. We will respond within the time the applicable law allows. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.
10. Cookies
The platform that hosts the program uses cookies and similar technologies to keep Participants signed in and to measure usage. The corporate program pages themselves set no advertising or tracking cookies.
11. Changes
We may update this notice as the program or the law changes. The date at the top is the date of the current version. Material changes will be notified to Customers by email.
